I think I am going to finally bite the bullet and act off some of my mother's advice,
"Taylor, you need to wear some color on your lips."
I hate make-up. It feels like a mask and it's one extra thing I have to put on in the morning. I'd rather go au natural on a daily basis, but I'm afraid the black rings around my eyes would be frightening to passerbys. Looking at recent pictures, I have to agree that I need something
on the lips to wake me up a little.
While I'm not ready to jump into painted red lips, I am ready to add some sort of blush to these smackers. Who knows?! Maybe I'll dive into more color once I get used to a brighter look.
What are some of your favorite tubes that have a touch of color?
Goodness knows I need your advice on this one.
What colors will you be wearing for fall?
I look forward to taking your suggestions to the make-up counter this weekend.

I have never really been a lipstick fan, but I think this post just inspired me to give it a try! What's your favorite brand?

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog from the It List, hence the 2 mos. late comment. :) I like Clinique - you can try before you buy, which is crucial. Their Different Lipstick is typically more see-through- a light, but pretty option. They also have Almost Lipstick, which is another good option. I haven't tried their chubby sticks yet, they might also fit the bill. And they have plenty of shades that are 'gentle' - won't be a drastic transition for you. :) Have fun!
